This web site
A group of Researchers and Professors (picture below) met informally during the
XXII Brazilian Congress of Microbiology, held in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina State,
from 17th to 20th November 2003. The need for exchanging information among us and
with other researchers around the world as well, motivated the creation of a web site in
the internet. In this site you will find links to basic information about bacteriophages, a
short view of the interest of different groups working with bacteriophages
in Brazil along with some results published by them. Most important, this web site will allow you to get in
touch with people interested in the study of bacteriophages as therapeutic agents in Brazil.
